2.S. The Words of God – Summary – The Words that Changes your Life for Eternity!

+  Hi Guys

+ What if you can build a relationship with a person who can make your life a success and you can live for eternity?

+ It is like having Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Tony Robbins as personal friends that you can have discussions with every day!

+ Would you make effort to spend time with them? 

+ Absolutely, we all hopefully have a burning desire to make a success of our lives.

+ Think about he ironman race. There is action, tention, anticipation, … That is what the Bible is like when you apply it practically; it is the greatest adventure you will ever embark on!

+ But like the saying goes: “No pain, no gain.” is also true in having a relationship with God. If you allow God’s words to convict you, it will cut the sin out of your life. Most people see it as a bad thing, but imagine if you learn to cut out immorality, impurity, hate, anger in your relationship with your wife and it makes your marriage beautiful so that you live happily every after with you wife of your youth.

+ Would that not just be awesome!!!

So why is it that we do not read and study our Bibles?

Maybe it is because Warren will not ask you to stop lying, to deny yourself to follow Jesus, stop living for money and go through tough times so that your character can develop.

God’s word is not a a bunch of stories just like the guy who defeated a giant! It is useflul for our lives to teach, rebuke, correct and train us to be in a right relationship with God. 

What if you were to get a love letter from the most popular girl at school, would you go out with her? 

That is what the Bible is, it is a love letter from God the Creator of the Universe inviting you to have a relationship with Him and to spend Eternity with Him. 

Why do we like to interpret the Bible? Because we do not like denying ourselves of our sin, it is as simple as that. We do not want to change. Paul says if we do that, it leads to our own destruction on earth and we do not go to heaven. Intenseeee!!!

Now traditions is a touchy subject; it is like your culture. Some people will say don’t mess with my heritage. We get sentimental and say it can’t be wrong; they were not stupid people our ancestors. Yet there is things like infant baptism, praying through mother Mary and not Jesus and praying Jesus into your heart that is not in the Bible. These concepts are clear in the Bible if you are willing to study them out. Traditions leads to false worship of God and gives us a false sense of security that we are going to heaven!

We would say that a intellectual sincere belief in God is enough to take us to heaven, but God expect obedience from us to be His real disciples. 

What I believe and my life that I live determines if I go to heaven and those who listen to me. 

The noble charachter eagerly examines the scriptures everyday to see if the message is the truth no matter what they have previously learned or be taught. 

If I merely just listen to the good news but do not do as it says I deceive myself. But if I look intently into God’s perfect law that makes me free and do what it says I will be blessed in what I do. 

So as we live this adventure love story God wrote for us may we be blessed in what we do.
