Psalm 64:10 NIV
- See what comes out of our hearts when we are close to God, rejoicing and glorifying Him. Have you been focussing on the wrong things? The only way to turn that around is to spend time with God.
“When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions. Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.”
Psalm 65:3-4 NIV
- Do you know why you are overwhelmed? Yes it is sin, doing what I want and not what God wants. No wonder. You see closeness to God is always a choice, what will your deeds reflect today about your faith? What would you qualify as good things? Material possessions or being with God?

- Struggling with the same sin over and over? Dont I cherish that? Do you feel God is not listening?
Prayer
Morning Father. I come this morning before you humbled most times by my sin and lack of cherishing you over the world. I pray that you will always be my first priority in my life. I pray for our country that it might live in peace, so that we might glorify you and live peaceful lives. Jesus thank you for dying on the cross for me, I am truly an undeserving sinner that has been forgiven and can stand with confidence before you Lord. I pray for my new friend that he might be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth and spend his eternity with you. So true that scripture that we will have many troubles in this world (my computer and printer) I did not anticipate but God with your strength I will overcome. Help me God to love your church and encourage them daily. I pray for our move that it will go well and that we have chosen the right company. I pray for my wife to complete not one but two tenders today and if it is your will that we will get it. I dont know your plans but I do know they are good, help me to keep on trusting you even when it hurts. Love you my Lord.
