Divorce can be one of the most devastating events that can happen in your life. If you do not marry right it is like beng in a prison and then most probably it is freeing if you get divorced. If you have a good marriage it can be heaven on earth with it’s challenges.
Let’s see what God has to say about seperation.
Verse for Today:
1 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. – Is 59:1-2
Sin separates us from God. Let’s illustrate.
DARKNESS – WALL – LIGHT
MAN – SIN – GOD
In order for a man to have a relationship with God the wall must be broken down — sin must be forgiven.
The point in time that sin is forgiven is the point in time a person is saved.
Do you know what that wall of sin in your life is?
Prayer for Today:
Lord I know there is things that seperate me from you. Help me to know what it is and to repent of it. I know in the long run it is hurting my life. I know you want what is best for me, although it is hard for me to change. There is always hope in you. Amen.
