Imagine walking in a mall where there is a natural spring of water flowing next to you and the whole mall is full of people who knows you and you sit and drink pina colladas all day and chat the day away or go on a great adventure seeing great places ???
Can you feel yet how you will feel after a day like that ?
Peaceful, exhausted, fulfillment, joy, happiness, …
“Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! Godʼs dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”” – Revelation 21:1-5 NIV
Sounds like “Pandora” in the movie Avatar. With hanging gardens with the tree of souls.
A place with no unhappy people, no bad economies, no going back to work on Mondays.
It is like Groundhog day with just the last perfect day.
We all need to have hope to endure our life on earth to make it to heaven !!!
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” – Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV
Jesus imagined to be with the Father and that motivated Him to endure hardship, even death !!!m
This depict a moment in Groundhog Day when they were truly happy !!!
