Now communion is about remembering Jesus on the cross, that He’s body was broken for you (do you see Jesus being beaten because of my sin of gossip and worry not trusting God) that He’s blood was spilled for you on the cross (when you said that foul word did you see yourself driving in that lance in his side with the blood rushing out of his side)
The significance of the cross is that it is all about the cross. That is where our sins are forgiven, that is where it is possible for God to give His HS to us, that is where we believe we are saved by participating in Jesus death burial and resurrection.
That is what sets christianity apart from every other religion that a God came to die for His people so that they can have a chance to be with Him
“Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. “Sir,” they said, “we would like to see Jesus.” Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus. Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save me from this hour’? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” The crowd that was there and heard it said it had thundered; others said an angel had spoken to him. Jesus said, “This voice was for your benefit, not mine. Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show the kind of death he was going to die.”

Q. Do you only want to remain a single seed ?
Q. Do you love your life in this world ?
– It is about me
– My ambitions
– My desires
Q. Do I hate my life in this world ?
-What u can attain, achieve
– How will I know, I will do God’s will
– How much did I hate my life in this world this week.
Q. If I claim to serve Jesus I must follow Him ?
– I must follow the example that Jesus gave to me to seek and save the lost
Q. When we go through tough times, we say Jesus saved me from tough situation isn’t it?
No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name!
So we should look in the tough situation how we can glorify God.
I was sick this week.
The glory comes to God not of us avoiding the hardship but going through it with God, otherwise we would not be able to handle the situation without God.
“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.”

Giving that that is not accompanied by love is useless, so we should have the right motivation for giving
