“Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, LORD. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn. Indeed, our shield belongs to the LORD, our king to the Holy One of Israel.” – Psalm 89:15-18 NIV

Today’s Reading
Psalm 89
“I will sing of the LORD’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.
The heavens praise your wonders, LORD, your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.
In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared; he is more awesome than all who surround him.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.
Remember how fleeting is my life. For what futility you have created all humanity!” – Psalm 89:1, 5, 7, 14, 47 NIV
How we see God greatly determines our commitment to Him, like the one guys said “How big is your God, is he bigger than your problem?”. Do I look for the good in God? Do I remember His wonders and what He did for His people? Does he deserve my praise? How often do you sing to God? If it does not come out of your mouth it dies not come our of your heart.
Would you say you greatly fear God? I think fear or healthy respect shows up in our obedience. We seek to please God and make plans to do so. Is God your first priority in your schedule. How much time do you fit God and His work into your schedule? If you were to give yourself a point between one and ten, what would it be? Are you happy with that number?
Todays Prayer
Holy Father I praise your name this morning. As I listen to the bushveld birds singing it is truly amazing how they sing to You every day!!! May my voice reverberate like theirs every morning. May my schedule reflects my fear and respect towards you. May the decisions I make glorify Your name. Amen
