The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster. (Proverbs 16:4 NIV)
Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. (Ephesians 1:3-6 MSG)
God thought about us before the creation of the world and thats why we have a purpose.
Was I a mistake ? Not by God. God decided, He has us in mind.
But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing at all. Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand, and my reward is with my God.” (Isaiah 49:4 NIV)
Life without purpose is useless. The one with the most toys win. It is a bit useless.

From success to significance – Lloyd Reeb
My reward is with God. God will reward us.
How do we find significance. Doing something fun. Significance come when we reach God’s purposes. Something that has eternal value.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. (Psalm 139:16 NIV)
God saw my unformed body. I matter to God, I am not an accident.
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. (Psalm 33:11 NIV)

Remember how fleeting is my life. For what futility you have created all humanity! Who can live and not see death, or who can escape the power of the grave? (Psalm 89:47-48 NIV)
I find my purpose in God. If not created by God there is no purpose, no morals.
For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. (Colossians 1:16 NIV)
We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels— everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.
For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels— everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. (Colossians 1:16MSG)
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG)
We find our purpose in God.
